YAVAPAI COUNTY, Arizona – Beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2025, Yavapai County will enact Stage 1 Fire Restrictions for Zones One (1) and Two (2) due to increasing fire danger and persistent dry conditions. These restrictions are being enacted preemptively by an interim order signed by Chair Mallory May 29, 2025, and will be presented for formal approval by the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors at their next meeting on June 4, 2025.

This coordinated effort aligns with regional cooperators, including the Coconino National Forest and Prescott National Forest, which are also expected to implement Stage 1 Fire Restrictions on or around May 30, 2025.
